Intuit Financial Freedom Foundation – Tax Time Allies
If you are a family in the US making less than $66,000 per year, you can use brand-name software to file your taxes for free. Not many people know this and we are on a mission to change that.
Working with the Intuit Financial Freedom Federation, we created the Tax Time Allies to help support people during tax season. Led by Intuit, The Allies consist of local community-based organizations that offer free in-person tax assistance and other nonprofits that support good financial habits to improve the lives of low and moderate-income families.
We have helped to increase the numbers of people who utilize the free services by up to 30% year over year.
Logo
We named and created the identity for Tax Time Allies. The logo captures the feeling of accomplishment and empowerment that comes from being in control of your finances.
Community connection
Intuit employees get 40 hours of paid volunteer time every year. Many use the time to help people do their taxes. We were able to capture their spirit and the appreciation of those they helped in this video.

Getting the word out
Free can be such a polarizing and mistrusted word. We captured real taxpayers sharing their appreciation for just how easy it was to use this actually free service. Through digital banners, OTT video placements, and integrated social, we’ve been able to drive usage of the IRS Free File Program from declining numbers to four years of 30% growth.
