San Mateo County Health

San Mateo is a diverse and dispersed county, so trying to create an identity to capture the spirit of all the health-related services in play there was a challenge. Services span from testing the water at the coast to restaurant inspections, medical care, and behavioral health. We were able to capture the complexity of this organization by recognizing that the individual parts come together to create a unified whole—and that together they make the County better for all its inhabitants. This identity won the EPIC award for best branding at CAPIO.
